Kengeri and its metro station on the Purple Line are a short drive east along Mysore Road, and the line runs on to Majestic and the city centre. The NICE Road, a few kilometres back towards the city, gives a fast link to Bannerghatta Road, Electronic City and Tumkur Road without crossing the centre.
For daily needs there are supermarkets, banks and clinics along Mysore Road at Kengeri and Kumbalgodu. Larger hospitals and shopping are found around Kengeri and Rajarajeshwari Nagar, both within a short drive. For a senior community the practical points are the nearby hospitals, the level access from the highway and the township's own security, all of which are worth checking on a visit.
