Porur is a western Chennai neighbourhood built around a large lake, at the junction of the Mount-Poonamallee Road and the bypass. It has a long-established commercial centre and several of the city's largest hospitals.
Its market grew on the IT parks along Mount-Poonamallee Road and on that hospital cluster, which together give it a broader employment base than the single-industry corridors. Metro Phase 2 brings stations to Porur, and the road network already connects it well in every direction.
Our listings are mostly apartments with a villa project, and nearly all of it is complete. Two- and three-bedroom homes make up almost all of the mix. Flats in Porur run from about ₹26 lakh to ₹96 lakh with the middle near ₹58 lakh, which is modest for a location this well connected. TVS Emerald lists the most projects here.
